		<description>I think it could be a potentially horrible blunder. I love twitter, just the way it is, even with its scaling issues and random downtimes (see: twitterpiller). 

I think that if something as huge as facebook (even though I do use it daily) were to acquire it, they would not hold true to the simplistic ideals that twitter has come to be known for (at least in my mind). 

I would love to see twitter come up with some semblance of a business model and start generating its own revenue (see: Recent post that said over 50% of twitter users would pay to use it).</description>
